NXP and Veridos Help Secure Munich Security Conference 14. February 2020
Starting today, Munich will become the hotspot for all things security as senior decision-makers, ministers, and representatives from international organizations gather to meet in Germany for the annual Munich Security Conference (MSC).
For the second time now, an innovative eAccess solution is deployed by Veridos and the access cards – equipped with NXP’s contactless chips that contain advanced security features – are provided by Giesecke+Devrient.
Visitors can use walk-through portals when entering the venue and their identity is verified on the move through our UCODE DNA RAIN RFID ICs. These can be read at several meters of distance and are simultaneously able to protect the privacy of the cardholder.
In addition, our MIFARE DESFire EV2 ICs allow the security personnel on-site to verify the participant’s identity by using specialized handheld readers and smartphones.
