Recognize and reward effort
On May 1st, the entire world observed a holiday to honour workers and labourers everywhere. The goal of World Labor Day is to recognise the struggles and contributions of workers.
This day was inspired by a bloody clash between striking workers and Chicago police officers in 1886. However, at the first international socialist congress in Paris in 1889, this day was officially recognised as a memorial to the battle's victims. Since then, different countries have observed this day on different May dates.
The economies of countries are built on the backs of workers. They work around the clock to maintain global economic stability. It is time to assist workers who are involved in both the mental and physical aspects of completing the necessary work. Laborers put their lives in danger to provide for their families.
The worker union organises a number of public events on this day to demand fair pay and decent working conditions. Work-life balance refers to every employee's right to spend time with their families in any organisation.
Promise to respect the workers in our midst and to help them improve the global economy. Workers should be proud of themselves because they devote their mental and physical energy to completing tasks and achieving company and national goals.
