Using the same Mifare Desfire reader connected to two different controllers

Hi,

For a security installation the customer ask us to share the same Mifare Desfire reader connected to two different access control controllers. I'm quite sure that this is not possible. Someone tried to do something like this? Is it possible?

Hi,
I understand that it should be possible , only that you must efficiently manage the shared use of the reader .
If both drivers are waiting for a card, you must temporarily share the reader to detect a card. Once one of the two drivers, detects a card, you must take control of the reader , complete the task , and then return the reader on a shared basis .
I do not see it very efficient , but I understand that it could be done .
