    Goodmorning everyone,
my problem is to emulate a classic 1k Mifare card with an Android phone equipped with NFC.

The reader system has already been developed and is now working correctly with mifare Classic cards and can not be changed.

I wanted to know if it was possible to develop an app like this.
If yes your SDK can be useful or the Android api enough to achieve my aim?

    Sorry for my english.
    Thank you very much, bye

    Hi Milo,

For your needs our MIFARE4Mobile (in short M4M) solution is the perfect answer. M4M implement MIFARE Classic and MIFARE DESFire cards inside of the Secure Element (SE) of your phone. The SE is an extension of the NFC reader chip in the rear shield of your phone. Please notice, not all phones on the market contains NFC reader chips with a SE.

This is a secure solution you know from our card products. The keys are embedded inside of the SE and cannot be retrieved from outside. This differ dramatically for any approach to emulate a card in software in an Android user program. Here all keys lay inside of the code of the Android software and can be easily compromised from malware.

Please visit this site for more information on M4M:

    Regards,
    The MIFARE Team
