Sam Av2 Lock/Unlock command problem

Hello,
I try to use this command and I have a problem. When I execute this command for the first time, the answer is 68 83. I check the documentation and in the section of this command this answer does not exist. But I am trying to use this command again, the answer is 69 85.
Please help!

Hi Marcelo,

You use the LockUnlock command to switch into AV2 mode. If the SAM has switched, you get “key is already locked/unlocked”. You do not need to call it again.

Thanks by your response. The problem is the first time I use this command the response 68 83 and I don't know that meaning: 1 Why this response? and 2 The meaning of this message. The second and others uses, the response is what you mentioned “key is already locked/unlocked”.

Hi Marcelo,

The error code 6883 should not occurs if you execute SAM_LockUnlock command.
Do you have all datasheets? I recommend reading:

AN10980 – MIFARE SAM AV2 – Host Communication

In this AN you will find calculated examples for host authentication. The SAM datasheet explains all possible return code and their meanings.
