license key migration to TapLinx 3.0

Hi,
I can see in the release note that the license key length has changed in the version 3.0 of the Taplinx SDK (from 256 bytes to 2048).
I now have a previous version of the TapLinx application and have a question about the migration procedure.
If I regenerate my license key, it will block all my existing users, and they will be blocked until they install the new version, I think.

Is there a way to have the two keys existing at the same time to avoid this situation?
