I have a few MiFare cards lying around the office. I can retrieve the UID with Android.

iOS always seems to return an empty unique identifier associated with the card.

This is the sample project I'm using: https://developer.apple.com/documentation/corenfc/building_an_nfc_tag-reader_app

    Hi Sean,

iOS does not allow to operate with custom smartcards. You should use Android or PC/SC reader with desktop systems.

Mods should remove that markov spam in the post above.
