DumpSecretKey Alternative

Hi,

We have integrated Mifare SAM AV2 and Mifare Plus X. We use DumpSecreyKey just now.

Is there any alternative to DumpSecretKey which can be used to store the keys in Mifare Plus and which can ensure the keys from SAM are not exposed too.

Hi Tithi,

You do not need SAM_DumpSecretKey! If you change a key entry in the SAM successfully, the updated key is known! Why do you allow dumping? You should install SAMs in the field only which this option is disabled for a key entry!

This known key value must be used in the personalizing of the MIFARE Plus X cards. Usually this is done on a secured PC in a “secured office” (where only authorized persons have access).
