NXP at TrackHack 2015 in London

Technologies like RFID, NFC and BLE build the basis of different proximity ID solutions and will play a significant role in the Internet of Things. Mobile will become even more important in the future, so does the demand for creative mash-ups of these proximity-based technologies. TrackHack is the first ever proximity ID technology event where hackers and developers can access all proximity ID tech and can do what they do best: create, innovate and disrupt. The hackathon focuses on solutions addressing security, marketing and advertising, social interactions, gaming, mobile payments, as well as track and trace. Participants will compete for cash and prizes and winners will be invited to join the next AccelerateNFC class, a competitive program where selected companies participate in an intensive 12-week mentoring program designed to provide access to resources normally beyond the reach of early stage companies.

NXP is happy to be a Gold Sponsor of the hackathon events in London (20.-22. November 2015) and Austin (11.-13. March 2016). Our colleague Michael Neurohr, responsible for the NFC Reader Library, will serve as a judge for different challenges. The next upcoming event of the Proximity ID Hackathon series starts on the 20th of November 2015 in London (London Campus). Register here for free!
