NXP drives innovation @ Urban Future 2016 8. March 2016

“As we head towards a new era of urbanisation – half of the world’s population will live in cities by 2050 – the race is on to make our cities smart to keep it all synchronized. It’s no coincidence that one of the most common text messages, sent billions of times a year all over the world in all cities, is, “where are u?”

The URBAN FUTURE is Central Europe’s biggest conference for sustainable cities. It’s a two-day highly inspirational conference, expo, meeting point and know-how platform for urban decision makers and all those associated with sustainability projects. More than 1,500 participants from 50 nations participated in the event on March 2-3, 2016 in Graz (Austria). International and domestic experts as well as specialists from cities of all sizes exchanged views on best practices and projects that have already been executed and make cities more sustainable.

Putting Our Technology into Innovation and Sustainability
NXP creates a new layer of trust, working with partners and industry experts to implement security, configurability and compatibility across all technologies. At the conference we were demonstrating NXP’s dynamic network that interconnects resources, services and people. This in turn enables value-added services and semi-automated processes in smart cities, where people need to be in control of urban developments.
