    Wait a minute ... I can see that the card was detected as MIFARE Classic non-EV1!

    Hello,
    I have checked the support of my phone in TagInfo application. It seems to be fully supported. At least theoretically.

    Also I was able to reproduce my issue even there. You can see the set of printscreen from both phones.
    First 8 screens are from Sony Xperia – fully working Android 7.1.1. The card is read, logged in using key A and data read.
    Last 8 screens are from Samsung Galaxy – not working Android 4.1.2. The card is read (you may see the same UID), but the login using key A fails even when the key value is the same.

    There is also one error message more – “ERROR: Returns NAK values to app!”. This may be that issue.
