Kevin thank you. Indeed in that document there are some APDU commands for Mifare Classic.

One more question. Now say I want to communicate with Mifare Plus or Mifare Desfire EV1 -- where can I find list of such APDU commands also?

For example, for Mifare Classic this:

APDU = {FF B0 00 04 10}

reads data from 4th block. Where can I find such APDU specifications for other Mifare cards, e.g., Plus or Desfire Ev1?? Thank you.

Dear Mike,

thanks for the response. I am not sure what you meant with PC/SC driver
because I just installed driver for my reader - omnikey 5321. But I will look
at the document you posted.

I was more interested in what the document I referred to, said in Section 6.2
About HID proprietary transparent channel that I might have to use for
communicating with Mifare Plus if the latter is in security layer 1, or 2.
Can you tell me your opinion about this? And also about interoperability as
I highlighted in my initial question? Thanks.
