Hi

My phone supports the Mifare Classic cards. The TAGINFO is able to display information for my blank (SL0) cards and the SL3 (Previously migrated) cards too. So - I think, the Mifare Card support is present.

Can you provide some small code snippet that has worked for migration from SL0 to SL3 ? I have tried all the three versions (1.1, 1.2 and 1.3) versions of the SDK.

I think, there is a small step which I may be missing and hence this error.

Appreciate your earlier responses and would look for this one too...

Hi there,

Is this issue "EVP_DecryptFinal_ex:data not multiple of block length" resolved ? If yes, what was the resolution? Any pointers to check / resolution ?

I am facing this issue on some devices, so need a resolution if available as early.

Hi ,

Thank you for the response, Could you suggest a model and code snippet where the change from SL0 to SL3 works consistently ? We can take that as a reference and try to work around that...or atleast have one base code that works. This will be of great help in zeroing the android device where the card personalization can be handled.

Hello Taplinx Support team,

Many thanks for responding to my query. I think, I have a little better explanation to my query now and this is what I want to achieve.

- I want to change the security level of a Mifare Plus card from SL0 to SL3. This is because, a freshly manufactured card will always be at SL0 and the application changes it's security level with appropriate keys.

- In this process, First time the user taps the card - the android phone detects the card with SL0.

- The app writes the keys at the 0x900x (address - 9000, 9001, 9003) and does a commitperso operation.

- The commitperso operation elevates the card to SL1.

- ---------------- At this time, the user is required to remove the card from the android phone and re-tap back to be detected at SL1.

- For this second tap detection, the card is detected as Mifare Classic and the application writes the application specific keys at the required sectors to raise it to SL3.

--------------At this time the user is again required to remove the card and tap back to be detected at SL3.

- At the SL3 level, the application writes appropriate data to the desired sectors and hence forth, the application can access the card at the SL3 level.

My requirement is that, the user is required to d minimal (expect to be only 1 tap) in which,
- If the card is at SL0
- Change From SL0 to SL3
- Write data
- else if the card is at SL3
- Write data.

The requirement is to complete the write operation in one tap.

Please let me know your approach to accomplish this.
