Every aspect of the identity has significance thanks to the hues Earth Blue, Rocket Red, and Lunar Silver. NASA is to thank for this.Starting with Luna 1 in 1959, the former Soviet Union had the first triumphs with its Luna program. NASA follow developed a succession of robotic Ranger and Surveyor spacecraft that performed more sophisticated missions, allowing the first humans to walk on the Moon in 1969.
A total of twenty-four people have journeyed from Earth to the Moon. Twelve people walked over it. The last time a person set foot on the moon was in 1972.
NASA is now preparing to establish a permanent lunar presence on the Moon. The Artemis program will transport the first woman and man to the Moon, establish a long-term human presence on the Moon, and pave the way for future human exploration on Mars. In Greek mythology, the program is named for Apollo's twin sister and the goddess of the Moon. Artemis 1, originally known as Exploration Mission-1, is the first in a series of progressively complicated missions aimed at allowing humans to explore the Moon and Mars.
