    I want to use desfire cards to open doors. Therefore I thought I could use the UID. But how can I be sure that the card is not a fake?
    I thought something like that: the card encrypts the letters "ok" with the NXP private key. If I can decrypt it with the public key, I can trust the card.
    What is the right way to do it?
