Purchasing Mifare Manufacturer UID segment

Hello,
I'm interested in manufacturing Mifare tags.
For this purpose, I will require my own manufacturer ID, for the tags' UIDs
(in the same way Motorola UK has 0x01, NXP Semiconductors Germany has 0x04 etc.).

My questions are:

1. Can you please instruct me on the process of obtaining my own manufacturer ID?
2. is the manufacturer ID same for all types of tags and Mifare protocols?

Hi Avner,

Sorry, but explain how to get certificates for the production of own NFC products is beyond my capabilities. You are sure to manufacture NFC products instead of buying such products and personalize them?
