    Hi,

    I am trying to interface Mifare Rfid(MFRC531) to xmega128a1 board (RS232). How do I do it?
    I have connected GND to GND and VCC to VCC, RX to TX and TX to RX. What about CTS? How is the board transmitting data? how do I write a C program for that? Is there any example what kind of data it transmits?

    Hi,

    Actually I do not know the xmega128a1, but the MF RC531 does not support RS232.
    Please refer to the datasheet of the MFRC531, which can be downloaded from www.nxp.com.

    Hi,
    The Tx and Rx pins are for the antenna connectivity and it is definitely not similar to the UART interface (Tx and Rx). Sorry to confuse you.
