    Hi,

One of our clients are currently using MIFARE Classic throughout their campus. Our product needs to integrate with this system and I'm trying to find some information on what's involved. All that we are after is scan a card through proximity device and pass information scanned information (person identification number) to our application. Our application is written in .NET.

I would be most grateful if somebody who works with MIFARE Classic can advise us on what's involved.

    Kind Regards,
    Viktor

    Hi Viktor,

if you application is written in C# you can use the PC/SC interface to read and write to the MIFARE Classic. PC/SC is a defined interface for contact and contactless tags and Smartcards originally distributed for the Win32 system interface. There are wrapper for C# available, so you can used in your application.

    Kind regards,
    The MIFARE Team
