This time we faced on a trouble with Mifare Classic 1K which shows UID 00 00 00 00 and memory bit error
while we are using it for a long time.
After investigating the inlet, we found TESTIO pin is also connected with LA and VSS.
Then we have two questions as follows.
1. Is it any issue when we connected TESTIO to antenna as the attached file?
2. If yes, is there any a cause-and-effect relationship, between UID all "0" or memory bit error and the connection?
Best regards,
NA

Hi Naoki,
It seems that you have trouble with your reader device and the MIFARE Classic is not detected properly (the Classic send never a UID of zeros).
Kind regards,

Hi Support Team,
Thanks for your input.
However it is not an issue of the reader device because
just some cards show the trouble.
Then let me ask the following same question again.
Please review the attached inlet case.

Hi Naoki,
I got this answer to your question:
TESTIO and VSS should be floating, so using single slit assembly is not a problem. If they have used failing die from the wafer (picked up in error) then these will have no UID patched so will appear as 00 00 00 00.
