Key Diversifications using HSM

    Hello,

I am working for a project which requires to use HSM to derive key.
I read document https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN10922.pdf for key diversifications supported by SAM AV2

Does anyone know which HSM models which supports derive key functions as described in above document?

    Thanks,

    Hi Nhuttrung

The mentioned AN describes a key diversification algorithm which is implemented in MIFARE SAM AV2. If you decide to use this algorithm in your current software solution, you can change easily to a secure hardware implementation using the SAM.

    Hi TapLinx Support,

Our project requires OTA Topup as outlined in https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/AN12113.pdf.
Processing logic (including authentication, data encryption/decryption) is done by the back-end server. I think we should use HSM instead of SAM for processing speed and performance.
That why I am looking for HSM models which supports OTA topup and key diversifications for card authentication.

    Thanks,
    Trung
