    Hello,

MIFARE Classic seems to be the solution for my problem. I never worked before with RFID.
In the specification sheet I see that every RFID Chip has an unique identifier.

Is that identifier only unique for one order ? If it is that means I may have duplicates.
What could I do to make every card I get to be unique?

    Kind Regards
    Eric

    Hi Eric

Yes, the UID of any NXP product (MIFARE, NTag etc.) is unique. But the UID is not a security property! So, you should not build the security of your system, let say you implement an access system, on the UID. It is possible to create an electronic device with an antenna which emulates every UID.

For security devices it is possible to put the card in a mode, where the UID is always random to forbit tracking.
