How the RFIDDiscover detect the Mifare Plus S/SE/X and EV1 security Level?

    Hi: I'm now working on RFID, when user insert a Mifare Plus card, we need detect is this card Blank(security Level 0), or is already be initialized(security level 3).
    I checked the SAK/atqa and ATS. No difference between security Level 0 and security level 3.
    But the RFIDDiscover can detect right even no get SAK/atqa and ATS.
    How RFIDDiscover detect Mifare Plus S/X/SE security Level?
    How RFIDDiscover detect Mifare Plus EV1 security Level?
    My RFID chip is MFRC630.

    Hi Zhangwenjin,

    SL0 and SL1 are accessible in protocol ISO14443-3 and SL3 in protocol ISO14443-4. Please have a look into ANAN10834:

    AN10834 - MIFARE ISO/IEC 14443 PICC Selection .

    You must check the SAK bit. The table “MIFARE Card Activation examples” on page 7 will help you. It shows the diagram of checking SAK bits in a “decision tree”. I am not the developer of RFIDdiscover, but I am quite sure the guys used this table for the algorithm of determine which MIFARE Plus is on the reader.
