How to integrate MIFARE SAM AV2 in portable device?

Hi,

There is a portable device with SIM slot, We want to integrate a MIFARE SAM AV2 to it.

Is that possible? and how to?
1) Do we need integrate both hardware and software code?

from the introduction under,
http://www.mifare.net/products/mifare-sam-av21/mifare-sam-av2/, we are still puzzled.

PS:
The target device is a handset, with a SIM slot, which support 7816-1/-3/-4.

Can we confirm this with sales?

Hi,

You can insert MIFARE SAM in that SIM slot (ISO7816 complaint). To communicate with SAM, you do not need any SW, I assume the device has already ISO7816 implementation (without it an ISO7816 slot makes no sense).
