Is there a way to distinguish between a Mifare Ultralight and a Mifare Ultralight C on application level? Since the SAK of both chips is the same, I see no way to know which of the two chip types is currently on the reader.

I've tried several approaches to search for the correct chip type but none of them (not even the approach used in the android SDK) are fool-proof or as straight-forward as I think they should be.

I was hoping there was some undocumented way to distinguish between the chip types, maybe the correct type is coded into the UID like it's done for Hitag 1 and Hitag S chips?
