I read the "NXP Semiconductors’ recent communication regarding MiFARE “compatible” or cloned chips being imported into the United States by plastic key card marketers from the United States".
I want to buy Mifare tags and I have to be sure that I am buying Genuine MIFARE?.

I know that there is a kit to detect Mifare clones (AdvanIDe NXP Mifare classic 1k clone checker kit), but I do not want to buy it. Because I have the Pegoda reader. So I would like to know if there is a application note or software that I can use it.

it is scheduled to publish an Android app for detecting clones for MIFARE Classic soon.

    Best regards,
