Hello everyone, i don't know where to start, my boss just told me about a project he is trying to get going. We want to implement a smart card system for a bus terminal so that the user can adquire a card and recharge it whenever they need to make a trip, also for frequent user of the terminal we need cards so that they can be recharge every month or so by there company.

We were thinking of implementing vending machines for recharging and selling the cards, like the New York Metro.

Can someone help me with were to start gathering information, and what is the best solution.

Thanks, and sorry for my bad english

    Hi Milton,

It is very difficult to give a satisfying answer. There are a lot of requirements to take into account. Is the aspect of security or the aspect of low-priced the most important point? This decides which product you use and issues to your end-users.

    Kind regards
    The MIFARE Team

    Dear MIFARE Team,

We are looking forward to get help from the NXP team to develop a NFC Desfire EV1 application with Native shell commands. We have tried with the TapLinx SDK and it is working with Android Intents. But for our application we should use Native APDU commands to communicate with the card. But there are no resource found. We need to know few things.

    1. How do we get the above native commands or API documentation with example?
    2. Do we need to have a NDA before getting the details?
    3. If we need NDA, what should be the procedure?

    Your immediate attention is required.

    Thank you.

    Kind Regards,
    Lasitha

    Hi Lasitha,

The MIFARE DESFire datasheet for native commands is NDA classified. You must sign an NDA before getting the datasheet. We need your full name and the legal business address of your company.

Please write to me at taplinx@nxp.com. I will hand-over your request.

    The TapLinx team
