Hi Christoph,
this is what you should definitely avoid! The result is undetermined. Typically, a reader which writes data uses for instance a green LED which shows when the user can remove the tag from the reader.
Other products like the MIFARE DESFire offer so called “backup files” which use a special command “commit transaction” which write the collected data from the temporary copy to the data file. If the tag is removed before commit, the temporary copy is removed and the original data is left untouched.
