Hi EMR,
To use a MIFARE SAM AV2 as hardware keystore was one feature on the list for TapLinx. Unfortunately, this feature was removed. One reason, it was not clear if this HID product (there exist also a Bluetooth reader) are continued in future. On the other hand, how many users need a hardware keystore on a USB cable?
Anyway, this feature is not dead, it is moved to low priority. We are talking about such approach. But I cannot guarantee that this feature will be available soon.
