Rainer Lutz- Senior Marketing Manager MIFARE, NXP Semiconductors



Rainer Lutz is the Senior Global Marketing Manager for Automatic Fare Collection and Access Management in the NXP Business Unit Identification, responsible for the MIFARE DESFire product family. He is located in Graz at the NXP development centre for contacless smart card technologies. With a team of business development and account managers he supports individual projects with leading transport operators, system integrators, reader and card manufacturers. He is an active member of standardization committees and a regular speaker at conferences. Rainer holds Masters degrees in Cybernetics, Engineering and Philosophy from the Ecole Centrale Paris and the University of Stuttgart. He is married and proud father of two sons.



Joo Ming Chua – Senior Product Manager MIFARE, NXP Semiconductors



Joo Ming Chua is the Senior Product Manager in NXP Semiconductors’ Business Unit Identification in Gratkorn, Austria. He is responsible for product management of MIFARE™ contactless smartcard product families. He work closely with the R&D team in NXP and define the next generation MIFARE™ products according to end customers’ requirements. With a team of business development and account managers he supports individual projects with leading transport operators, system integrators, reader and card manufacturers. He has more than 15 years of work experience in the smartcard industry with focus on AFC, access management and micro payment applications. He holds a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.
