Broadcom licenses MIFARE® 10. June 2015

Protocol support expands NFC offerings for Transportation, Ticketing and Access.

Broadcom Corporation, a global innovation leader in semiconductor solutions for wired and wireless communications, today announced it has licensed MIFARE®, widely deployed ICs for contactless ticketing, transportation and access applications. With this adoption, Broadcom supports a growing set of near field communication (NFC) and related payment applications in mobile phones, tablets and wearable devices.
