Hi, I have a RC522 module, but it won't read the card or tag supplied with it.

It reads Skylander figurines (with Auth error), but not the Card or tag, please help.

    Hi

It's the RFID-RC522, I have tried different code for Arduino and on the Raspberry pi.

Which tags are we talking about?
If there is a key being required to authenticate, this key must be known. Otherwise the tag cannot be read on purpose.
(You cannot enter a door, if it is locked and you don't have the key. That is the reason for the lock...)

    Fair Sir,

excuse me disturbing you by my stupid question, but I am really confused because information are controversial.
Is the MF RC522 (on an Arduino accessory model) able to read (at least UIDs) from a MIFARE PlusX 4K card?
I was successful to read S50 cards (purchased together with the reader), but Student cards not, those are containing the PlusX 4K chip.

Thank you very much in advance.
    Sincerely
    Balazs Bodosi
